General Terms and  Conditions

These delivery terms apply to the online store maintained by Helsinki Outlet Ltd ("Helsinki Outlet") at helsinkioutlet.fi. By accessing and using the Helsinki Outlet online store, customers signify their acceptance of these terms and commit to adhere to them.

The sellers in the Helsinki Outlet online store are the partners ("Brand Partners", also referred to hereinafter as "Seller"), who are merchants responsible for any product defects to the purchaser in accordance with consumer protection law. Helsinki Outlet is responsible for the logistics and centralised customer service of the online store.

Helsinki Outlet's online store reserves the right to amend these terms by publishing updated terms on its website. Orders are subject to the terms that were in effect at the moment the customer placed the order.

Purchases from the Helsinki Outlet online store can only be made through the website helsinkioutlet.fi. It is not possible to place orders by phone or email. Customers must provide all necessary information required for the order at the time of ordering. Due to taxation reasons, orders made through the online store can only be delivered within mainland Finland, and not to Åland. The delivery address for the products is required to be the customer's official address.

 

The Helsinki Outlet online store adheres to an age limit of 18 years for purchases.

 

The Seller reserves the right to cancel a sale in the event of clear pricing errors when the listed price significantly and clearly deviates from the actual price of the product. In such cases involving a price discrepancy that is so evident, the customer is deemed to understand the mistake.

 

The online store does not offer an exchange right on purchased products.

 

Product offers are valid as long as stock lasts, unless stated otherwise. 

 

The Helsinki Outlet online store website contains links to other sites related to delivery and payment transactions. Helsinki Outlet disclaims responsibility for the content and functionality of websites from external service providers.

 

Ordering and delivery

Purchasing from Helsinki Outlet's online store is designed to be easy, safe, and fast.

The store provides various payment options through Stripe, including Apple/Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Klarna invoice payments.  Learn more about payment terms here

An order is considered binding once an order confirmation has been sent to the customer's provided email address.(Order Confirmation).

 

Customers can choose the most suitable delivery method from the following options:

• Pick-up from a Helsinki Outlet Click & Collect locker (0€)

• Collection from a Posti or Posti parcel machine (5.99€)

• Home delivery by Posti (9.99€)

 

Delivery charges are paid together with the product  The delivery method can be selected upon proceeding to the online store's checkout.

Customers can also opt for package collection at Helsinki Outlet's collection point. In this case, the customer must present an identity document and the order confirmation at the time of collection.

Helsinki Outlet's online store aims to process and dispatch orders within 2-5 working days following the order confirmation. Please note, however, that delivery times may be extended due to large sales events (such as Flash Sale, Outlet Alarm, Black Friday), holidays, or postal delays.  The Seller and Helsinki Outlet are not liable for delays in delivery that are beyond the control of the online store. 

If an ordered product is unavailable or out of stock, Helsinki Outlet's online store customer service will contact the customer. If necessary, the Seller may cancel the sale, and a refund for the undelivered product will be issued to the customer. The Seller reserves the right to limit the number of products that can be ordered per customer.

 

Returns

In accordance with consumer protection law, consumers have the right to cancel their purchase without specific reason within 14 days of receiving the products. The Helsinki Outlet online store extends a 14-day right of cancellation in line with consumer protection law for its purchases. Notification of cancellation must be sent to the Seller via email at info@helsinkioutlet.fi or by letter to Helsinki Outlet Ltd, Tatti 17, 00760 Helsinki, no later than 14 days after receipt of the products. 

 

If the customer cancels the purchase, they must return the received products to the Seller without delay and no later than 14 days from the cancellation notice. Product returns are made by post using the cancellation form and return address label. Returns cannot be made by bringing the product/products directly to Helsinki Outlet's brand stores.

The right of return does not cover gift cards. For hygiene and intimate products, as well as sealed packages, the right of return applies only to unopened packages. Due to hygiene reasons, returns are not accepted for:

(1) Underwear, socks, or swimwear where the hygiene strip or packaging has been removed, or products that the Seller can deem used and thus unfit for sale.

(2) Cosmetics products where the packaging has been opened.

 

Returned products must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags and price labels attached. All components of the products, including any instructions and packaging materials, must be returned. Customers are responsible for ensuring returned products are in a condition that is fit for sale. If a product is used, treated carelessly, or washed prior to return, the customer is liable for any depreciation in value up to the full price of the product.

Please note that in the event of cancellation and returns, Helsinki Outlet's online store will refund only the purchase prices of the products, not the shipping costs of your order. Products returned contrary to the return instructions will not be credited, and the product will not be sent back to the customer.

A correctly returned and cancelled order will be credited to the customer no later than 14 days after receipt of the cancellation notice, provided the products have been returned to Helsinki Outlet's online store customer service point or the customer has proven that they have sent the products back. Received payments will be refunded using the same payment method used by the customer.

 

Seller´s liability for Defects

If a product ordered is defective, the customer must notify the product's defect in writing as soon as possible after discovering the defect. The defect notification should be addressed to the product's seller (Brand Partner) and sent by email to: info@helsinkioutlet.fi or by letter to Helsinki Outlet Ltd, Tatti 17, 00760 Helsinki.
 Complaints cannot be made directly to Helsinki Outlet's brand stores. A complaint typically results in the repair or replacement of the product with a non-defective one, rather than a cancellation of the sale.

The Seller is responsible for product defects in accordance with Finnish law.

 

Unclaimed products

Failure to collect a product from a post office does not constitute a return, but the return must be made according to Posti's return conditions. Helsinki Outlet's online store will not cover return costs incurred outside these terms.
